Artist camp outback

Madeleine Ekeblad and myself are travelling to Quilpie in May this year, to visit fellow artist and friend Annabel Tully on her property. We'll be camping out in the shearer's quarters, all very well equipped (too spoilt!), and we 3 girls will be working en plein air in the landscape with lots of red dust and distant horizons. We have decided to produce a bundle of spontaneous works in response to the landscape we find ourselves in. With Maddi working with enamels and mixed media, myself working mostly in oils and Annabel working in natural ochres and pigments, we are going to work with uniform sizes that fit into pizza boxes, close the lid on their completion, and they'll stay well protected and easily transported.
Hence an exhibition entitled, Landscape Supreme - is an exhibition we'll pull together and find a public venue in which to exhibit them.
Sounds like a lot of fun to me!
